Prepare to enter the transportation industry! Companies are searching for trained employees with a positive attitude, safety awareness, and good driving skills. Our aim is to prepare students to enter this industry. The Tandem Truck program will teach students how to safely operate tandem trucks. Students will learn how to become reliable, confident drivers. Sucessful graduates will receive their Class 03, and 09a licenses.
Students will also receive training in:
General Safety • Trade Orientation and Related Tasks • Tandem Truck Operation • Vehicle Maintenance • Air Brakes with Adjustment (9a)
Students will also complete the following safety seminars: Power Line Hazards; WHMIS 2015, Professional Driver Improvement Course; Emergency First Aid/CPR; and Transportation of Dangerous Goods.
Successful graduates will receive a Class 03, and a Class 9-A.
