COMMERCIAL DRIVER – CLASS 01 – Duration – 13 Weeks

 There is currently high demand for workers within the transportation field. Companies are searching for trained employees with a positive attitude, safety awareness, and good driving skills. Our aim is to prepare students to enter this growing field. Students will gain practical driving experience coupled with in class learning in a small group environment. This program offers students guaranteed time on the equipment; loaded trailers; and rural, urban, day and night driving.

Students will also receive training in:

• Air brake endorsement
• Brake adjustment
• Defensive driving
• Pre-trip inspection
• Dangerous goods
• Route planning
• Preventative maintenance
• Power line hazards
• WHIMIS

Successful graduates will receive a Class 01, and a Class 9-A on their license.
