It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear colleague and friend Brian Gallant. Brian worked with Canadian Training as an instructor since the school’s founding in 1993. His knowledge and experience was instrumental in the educations of the hundreds of professional drivers who have graduated from our school. Even in his “retirement” Brian could still be found in the halls of the school helping where he could (including one time when I locked myself out of my office) or sharing a story. To this day when we have former students contact us they will usually ask about Brian. This just goes to show the impact Brian had on lives of those that he encountered.
I speak on behalf of all current and former staff of Canadian Training when I say that Brian was more than a colleague. He is family. We are thankful to have had so many years with with such a wonderful man. He will be greatly missed.
Viewings will be held on the mornings of December 12 and 13th at Slades Funeral Home in Bay Roberts. Funeral service to be held on 2pm Thursday, December 14th at the Holy Redeemer Church in Spaniards Bay. To those of you who are not in the area and are unable to attend the memorial but would like to pass along a message to Brian’s family, please feel free to message or email the school. We will ensure that all your messages reach Brian’s family.
